About Holy BodIES II
This series recontextualizes images of female body parts onto leaves then decontextualizes both the natural artifact and the body through horror-esque and alien rendering.
This series employ Chlorophyll printing techniques in which photos are transferred onto leaves using sunlight to bleach leaves.
Holy Bodies II is an extension of Holy Bodies, playing on the same themes through the lens of cosmic horror, inspired by Thai folk spirits such as Nang-Tani, female ghosts believed to exist in banana trees.
